De Mol, also known as Wie is de Mol? or The Mole, is a social deduction reality game.
In each season, 10 contestants play to earn money for a group kitty; but one of them is secretly the Mole, and their role is to sabotage each challenge in order to keep the prize fund low. At the end of each episode, the contestants take a multiple choice test about the identity of the Mole, and the person with the lowest score is sent home.
The Mole is revealed to the audience and cast in the season finale.

While the original Flemish version spotlights ordinary citizens, the highly successful Dutch version has featured celebrity contestants since its fifth season in 2005. Hosted by Anderson Cooper, the US version first aired on ABC in 2001 with an entirely civilian cast, but eventually switched to a celebrity format and fizzled out shortly after.
De Mol has been licensed in 40+ different countries, including the UK and Australia. In 2022 a US reboot came to Netflix and was subsequently renewed in 2023.
